What You'll Do


You will build the marketing strategy and execution plan for the Small Business Routes to Market. Working jointly with Global Distribution Sales, segment and regional marketing, you will be responsible for recruiting and activating our 2-Tier and Managed Services partners, arming them with the right content, campaigns and tools to sell into the small business market. You will also drive the e-commerce marketing strategy and plan through distribution.

The foundation for your success will come from collaborating closely with key stakeholders in Global Partner Sales, launching key initiatives and campaigns that will drive Small Business and Managed. Service Provider growth across various Routes to Market for Cisco.

Specific responsibilities include

  • Communicating our SB portfolio to and through our global distributors and arming the region teams with messaging and marketing campaigns
  • Working with our content and architectural teams ensuring the development and delivery of X architectural demand generation campaigns tailored to the SB customers
  • Segmenting our 2 Tier partners and tailoring our messaging and content accordingly
  • Building out 2 Tier partner proof points and success stories to recruit new partners into the Cisco fold
  • Investigate and prioritize SMB communities to further engage 2-Tier partners in conversation, get input and drive business impact
  • Support the global e-commerce initiatives with digital marketing campaigns and content syndication
Who You'll Work With

The team works with partners, internal and external, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Cisco's business. You have a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and agile team that is undergoing an evolution of its practices and skills to become more integrated and automated using a digital/ omnichannel approach where practical, so our marketing becomes more personalized and effective.

You will be a strategic partner to the Global Distribution leadership team and your counterparts across Global Marketing and Communications. You will work across our global and country teams to apply all that Cisco can offer to our distributors and 2T partners. You will work closely with our Global Distributor Marketing teams to develop joint messaging and campaigns that will be implemented in the region


Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications experience
  • You have small business marketing expertise within tech.
  • You have 3+ years of partner marketing experience
  • You have a consistent track record of accomplishment in creating and leading high-performing campaigns that resonate in-market.
  • You possess proven digital marketing success.
  • You have career success in large global brands.
  • You are a passionate Marketing leader who leads through data-driven insights. You are an expert in digital and traditional marketing and familiar with the ways our partners market to their customers and how they prefer to be marketed to.
  • You understand, through firsthand experience, the opportunities and challenges of marketing and selling through distribution channels.
  • You are an outstanding people leader who thrives in a matrixed structure and builds a fast-growing team environment.
Skills Required
  • In-depth Partner and Distribution insights - the ability to provide an outside-in perspective on our partners' and distributors' business and motivation to effectively create meaningful partner value propositions in our marketing content, campaigns, and communications.
  • Business Insight - Lead initiatives through the transformation Cisco is driving from Products to Services with Recurring Revenue within the Small Business market. Identify opportunities to drive aggressive business growth and deliver Marketing return on investment.
  • Marketing Innovation - Leverage automation and programmatic capabilities in an environment of scale and optimization. Be agile in a fast-changing, resource-constrained environment
  • Work towards results - execute with great focus to deliver desired business outcomes
