This position can be remote.
Develops and deploys websites, and online applications in a variety of coding languages. Works closely with the design team and the project management team to ensure the needs of the project are accounted for from a development standpoint.
Interacts with customers, product managers and application architects to collect and analyze business and user requirements. Participates in testing and validation procedures to ensure high quality and performance standards are met. Tracks and documents records of programming and development procedures and uses them for prototyping.
Familiar with .NET and PHP frameworks and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, and version control like Git. Knowledge and experience with responsive design. Must have an eye for detail. Ability to move quickly and independently and juggle multiple projects. Time management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines. Health care industry experience desired. User interface design experience preferred.
Experience with cross-platform interoperability and progressive enhancement. Understanding of content hierarchy and search engine optimization. Deploys and maintains web/user interface solutions as required by project. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time with multiple developers. Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Works as part of a cross-functional and/or cross-segment team.
Perform or direct Web site updates. Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. Back up files from Web sites to local directories for instant recovery in case of problems. Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Write supporting code for Web applications or Web sites. Document technical factors such as server load, bandwidth, database performance, and browser and device types. Recommend and implement performance improvements. Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types. Communicate with network personnel or Web site hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues affecting Web sites. Maintain understanding of current Web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
