Scope

The Cookie Program Consultant will drive profitable growth by building and developing strong business relationships with current and new council customers. This role also has the ability to work with current sales leadership to engage in business development strategy as well refine consulting services for our customers by diving into business analytics and strategic planning processes. The role will be a home office/remote role and will support some Midwest and West Councils.

Core Accountabilities
  • Develop and retain all current business within territory.
  • Strategize and assist in winning new business.
  • Build multi-tier relationships with council leadership, product sale staff and volunteers.
  • Lead councils in strategic planning for their cookie programs each season.
  • Uncover opportunities, solve council problems related to cookie program.
  • Model data-based decision making.
  • Provide hands-on service and support for staff and volunteers.
  • Conduct cookie training at council, service unit and troop levels.
  • Manage forecasting, sales, delivery, and evaluation processes for territory.
  • Ensure council compliance to ABC ways of work.
  • Conduct sales and performance analysis at troop, service unit, council and territory level.
  • Provide marketing consulting services such as workshop facilitation, training, presentations, marketing planning and business planning.
  • Contribute to business and category planning and implementation.
  • Drive profitable territory growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree and at least 5 years experience in sales, customer service, training, and/or marketing.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (includes listening and questioning).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills (ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize).
  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively and articulate plans to drive execution.
  • Highly self motivated with ability to build partnership to drive desired performance results.
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience.
  • Highly competent with internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience working with/supporting the Girl Scouts or other non-profit is ideal.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
