What youll do? Elliptic is looking for an ambitious and passionate product owner to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge blockchain intelligence tools. Product owners are an essential part of Elliptics product team. The role is truly cross functional, with lots of diverse projects to work on and a great opportunity to display your abilities and build on them. This is a full-time role in our London office. The role will be focusing on supporting our product managers in delivering our exciting roadmap. As a progression, the role eventually will expand into outbound activities enabling the right person to become a full fledged product manager.
  • Work closely with users and internal stakeholders (sales, customer success, development, design and product teams) to iterate and arrive at the best product experience
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas effectively
  • Be the customers voice as part of the engineering agile ceremonies
  • Produce assets and specifications to accurately brief product stakeholders
  • Be part of a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Bring an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit to the team
  • Functionally test and approve the developed artefacts against the pre-established requirements
  • Solve complex problems with elegant, imaginative solutions Were looking for smart product-minded people who work hard and have fun during the process! Requirements In addition to a passion for solving difficult problems, an ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
  • Previous experience as a business analyst, product manager, or similar role delivering software products to market
  • Self-starter, accustomed to working in a changing environment who enjoys and takes pride in technical solution delivery
  • A proven track record in working on complex and ambiguous programs
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
  • Experience building and managing business requirements and turning them into detailed technical design specifications
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills and listening skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to varying audiences
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding requirements beyond the written word Bonus Points for:
  • Experience working on an emerging technology
  • Experience in rapid application development methodologies - agile, scrum, etc.
  • Engineering background - this is a technical role and were looking for someone who can understand complex concepts and who appreciates nuances from an engineering perspective
