Position Description:

The Lead Corporate Travel Advisor is responsible for supporting a team of travel advisors to provide excellent customer service and travel services for their clients and customers. This position will also assist the supervisor and/or manager with monitoring, scheduling, training, coaching and guiding a team. Provide travel services for business travelers (including VIP/Executive), including arranging domestic and international air, ground transportation, hotel and any other travel services requested.  


Key Responsibilities:

Dedicated to Ropes and Gray. Monitor the team’s customer service and technical skills and provide coaching to develop travel advisor skills. Work with supervisor and/or manager in goal setting and development of team. Identify and coordinate training for team. Ability to quickly assess information, anticipate issues and outcomes, and make effective decisions including ability to draw clear conclusions. Escalate to leadership for guidance when necessary. Review incoming correspondence and materials as needed; prioritize, summarize, and respond in a timely manner. 


Required Skills/Qualifications:

Interact and communication with individuals, internally and externally, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to keep confidential any information, observations, or viewpoints regarding business matters. High degree of motivation with driving sense of responsibility, accountability, and responsiveness. Working knowledge of technology and PC literacy. Proficient on GDS. 

Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum of 10 years Sabre experience in the travel industry required. Working knowledge of domestic and international booking required. Knowledge of Online booking tool, Concur.

Schedule: Nights, Weekends, and Holidays 

Working pattern: 4 day work week 11 hour shift 60 minute unpaid lunch each day, total 40 hours.  

Saturday 2AM-1PM EST 

Sunday 7AM-6PM EST 

Monday 3PM-2AM EST 

Tuesday 3PM-2AM EST 

Time differential during daylight savings must meet EST service hours.
