Business Development / Sales Manager USA (full time, remote)

We are a young, fast growing startup and the vision to revolutionize the global grill market. We are known for innovative, premium-quality grills and grilling accessories that combine award winning design and top-of-the-market engineering. Our grills are made in Germany, and sold direct to consumer and through B2B Partners worldwide.

YOUR TASKS
  • Build out our Retail Sales / Distribution Network in the US market (focus states are TX, FL, GA, TN, AZ, CA, SC, NC)
  • New Client development through cold calls, E-mails and on-site dealer visits
  • Driving revenue by building and maintaining your sales pipeline
  • Key Account Management & client service
  • On-site live demonstration of our products for prospect and existing clients
  • Brand representation through attending events like trade shows, dealer events, PR events, Brand Ambassador events etc
  • Developing new strategic business fields on a project basis as well as new sales strategies and marketing approaches
  • Upholding feedback loop between your clients and Otto Wilde to improve product development, client service etc
  • Sales and Client Data (Base) Management

  • YOUR PROFILE
  • Demonstrated Sales experience, ideally but not necessarily within outdoor living, outdoor cooking, DIY / Hardware
  • Hunter mentality! At Otto Wilde we value new business development and expect our sales managers to constantly develop new business
  • Ability to work remotely from FL, TX, GA (Our U.S. office is located in NY but this position is expected to work remotely from Texas, Florida or Georgia)
  • You enjoy direct client contact! Speaking to clients directly over the phone or face-2-face is a

  • key aspect of our sales philosophy. This means that you will being on the road quite a bit.

  • Structured and precise working style with an eye for detail. A good sales manager knows how to accurately track his activity. This means regular and ongoing updates of sales and client data including revenue numbers, client feedback, meeting notes etc
  • Ability to work independently with a high intrinsic motivation to meet and beat targets!
  • Successfully completed College degree preferred but not necessary
  • Open-minded, creative and responsible
  • Good MS Office Skills
  • Strong communication skills (both spoken and written)
